I’ve been doing I.T. work for nearly 30 years — yes, I’m older than Google. My first internet experiences predated the graphical web: free domain names (registered by mail), UNIX command lines, and Lynx before NCSA Mosaic made browsing bearable.

For most of my career, I supported corporate and SME creative departments — work that lined up naturally with my own creative background and my love of helping design and web teams do their best work.

In 2016, I went independent. I started with technical work — hosting, programming, DNS — then rapidly expanded into creative work: landing pages, email campaigns, and webinars. Along the way I’ve worked for some of the top names in online marketing, including Dan Hollings, Russell Brunson, and Rachel Rofe.

Somewhere in there, I noticed the pattern that now drives everything I do: businesses that rent their audience from social media platforms are one algorithm change away from losing it all. The businesses that last are the ones that own their audience outright.

That’s why, over the past several years, I’ve focused entirely on email marketing — helping affiliate marketers and new online business owners step off the social media treadmill and build something they actually own: an email list. I’m an AWeber Certified Expert, and AWeber is my ESP of choice — I’ve been a customer for 22 years (as of 2026). I’ve been trained on email copy by Ash Ambirge, Laura Belgray, Ian Stanley, and others.
